Congress Candidates List for GHMC elections (130 GHMC Congress Contestants)
Congress party released it's first list of candidates contesting for GHMC elections. list consists of 130 names out of which few names may be changed as there was a heavy opposition for these names. Congress activists are staging Dharnas infront of D.Srinivas (PCC cheif) house and Danam Nagendar's house (Greater Hyderabad congress president). As usual Danam's rowdies hit a congress leader called Arjuna Rao who tried for GHMC ticket and staged dharna in front of Danam Nagendar's house saying that Nagendar demanded 20 lakhs for the seat.After this drama, this morning danam Nagendar announced that he is resigning from the post of GHMC president.
